Janet Mendel, Author of "Cooking in Spain" and "Tapas a bite of Spain".
Janet first came to live in an Andalusian Village in the late 1960s, she learnt about Spanish cooking in pueblo kitchens and enjoyed tasting the local foods at tapa bars, where a tiny plate of food was served free with every glass of wine.
On her travels throughout Spain she found that people everywhere love to talk about food and are delighted to share their recipes with her.
Tapas a bite of Spain, Janet says," I love tapas, a variety of tastes, enjoyed with wine, family and friends". For this book Janet has selected her favourite tapas to share with you!
